Training to be an ergologist

There are two types of professional, registered ergologists:

Clinical – working to cure people with existing symptoms related to excess stress

To be registered as a clinical ergologist takes 1,000 hours of study (which can be undertaken over 1 or 2 years or – exceptionally over 6 months) and 360 hours of clinical supervision

Strategic – working to minimalize the incidence and affects of excess stress in organisations

To be registered as a strategic ergologist takes 650 hours of study

Each training programme is assessed independently of this institute by professional bodies and universities.

Training programmes developed by this Institute are the only ones to progress from diploma level to doctorate.

You can apply to join these courses without a first degree and you can work to diploma, masters or doctorate level.
