Why-we-BuyThis is a project, set up to investigate more dynamic ways to encourage workers in the financial sector to address job-stress, which has completed its initial trial and is ready to find a group of partners in the areas most likely to benefit from the programme. It has now been shown to work in a number of other industries where major purchases are involved. The training encourages workers to examine the sub-cognitive processes involved with their own work motivations, and compare them to those involved in purchases of services and products where the prospective buyer has high levels of anxiety about the products failing – examples range from off-plan houses to pensions and investments. This project is covered more comprehensively in a separate leaflet which we are happy to send you, and is open for contract clients rather than sponsorship now that its feasibility research programme is completed.
