Job-stress and the banking & finance sector

Many people working in banking and finance believe that stress is a powerful tool for their work and often take steps to control it when they feel the affects of excess stress.

However, the pressures in these jobs can suddenly become excessive and, just when a self-appraisal of the amount of excess stress is most needed, many discover that it’s difficult to find the time.

“Burn-out” ruins lives and costs employers billions.

We were asked to construct a clinical and strategic stress management programme that would be attractive to people working in these sectors.

For progress on this on-going programme, called "Why-we-Buy", please see here.

The well-being of successful stress managers in the financial sector after retirement, extended sabbatical or career change.

We have a growing number of former workers in the financial sectors reporting ongoing anxiety to us after taking redundancy, early retirement or a career move into less challenging work.  They get little sympathy – but who knows what to do?
